PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME
Welcome to the Fairmount Park Elementary School web page.  Building on the foundational principle that every student can and will learn, the professional staff at Fairmount is dedicated to meeting the academic needs of all our students.  Achievement and success are our motivators as we strive to meet our district's academic goals.  We believe that parents, family and community members are a vital part of our educational team.  Family involvement is an important factor in reaching our goals.  We encourage every adult in our students' lives to set high standards for education and reinforce our academic programs after school and at home.  The goal of our school is to develop independent, self-reliant, life-long learners.  Fairmount has a family atmosphere in which all children have an important role.  There is mutual repsect that protects the rights and safety of all members.  Children not only feel the benefits of a strong community, but also a stable and caring school family.
We hope you find this web page beneficial to learning more about Fairmount Park Elementary School.

Sincerely,
Bev Ciricosta, Principal

THANK YOU LAKE CENTER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL!

On December 5th, Lake Center Christian School, visited us with 1800 books, personalized bookmarks, candy canes, teacher candy bags, and cookies and punch.  We wish to express our sincere appreciation!   Their project was a heart-warming and wonderful way to share with others.  Fairmount School is most appreciative of their overwhelming generosity.

Community Support

Fairmount  has recently received three grants for literacy

improvement - $1000.00 from Wal-Mart, $1200.00 from Target, and $2474

from the Martha Holding Jennings Foundation.

We are truly appreciative of the endorsement and community support we

are receiving!

Community Trick or Treat

On October 29th Fairmount continued a 22 year northeast end tradition

with their annual Community Trick or Treat!  Over 2000 people enjoyed

the festivities.  Many area businesses, community members and families

contributed to the event, confirming their support and commitment to our children!

What a wonderful event!
